Dear Chelsea Hornets Fans,

My name is Todd Cassity, and I am honored to be your Head Football Coach. Coming off a playoff season in 2024, I really feel the excitement continuing to grow amongst our players, parents, student body, and city to make Chelsea Hornet football the best that it can possibly be.  I am looking forward to continuing to work together as a family to do the best for our football program.

Chelsea athletics will remain in 6A this year and will be competing against very strong programs from across the area.  As you have probably noticed, there are so many improvements that have occurred within the program over the past three years.  We must strive to continue to grow our program with the best equipment and facilities that we can possibly provide to allow them to compete.  This support is spearheaded by our Quarterback Club which is our football booster program. Our new QB Club president is Shane Picklesimer.  He and the QB Club board have a growth vision that will aid in continuing to build a quality football program.  This includes raising much-needed funds for improvements, as well as plans to increase community involvement and Hornet football spirit. We have already seen that through numerous improvements that have been made, including: A new home side and parking lot, a video board, locker room renovations, protein shakes and bars, a new drone to film practices and games, new uniform, etc…

So, what does this mean?  First, we need to grow our booster club so that we can all build a great program together. Membership is not only limited to parents but is open to the community at large.  Second, we need the community’s help through our sponsorship program.  We are proud to offer some great sponsorship levels that will mutually benefit our boys as well as our local businesses.  This means increased exposure for our players as well as our local businesses.

Chelsea, let’s show them what we can do together!
